About "Chromatic Glass - Web Edition"

This software is a color vision assistance tool for color deficient individuals which can increases color visibility and enhances the ability to distinguish color. Three most common types of congenital color vision deficiency, i.e. Protan, Deutan and Tritan are supported. Although this is a web-application coded with HTML5 + Javascript and is based on the "Chromatic Glass" smart-phone edition, it works without any software if there is only a corresponding web browser.

How To Use

(1) Color Vision Type (P, D, T): Choose a color vision type of user from Protan(P), Deutan(D) and Tritan(T)
(2) Input Device (Camera, File): Choose an input device of image from camera (video) and file (still picture).
(3) Lightness (-0.5 - +0.5): The lightness of the color zone which is the target of color change is made to fluctuate. A value is the amount of relative change when black-white's lightness are assumed 0.0-1.0. For example, when Color Vision Type is P or D and it is set as +0.2, red lightness becomes high 20%, and green brightness becomes low 20%.
(4) Chromaticity (-0.5 - +0.5): The chromaticity of the color zone which is the target of color change is changed. A value is the amount of relative change when red-green's chromaticity are assumed 0.0-1.0. For example, when it is set as +0.2, red changes to bluish and green changes to yellowish taste.
(5) Zone Width (0.0 - 1.0): Specify the width of the color zone which is the target of color change. For example, when it is set as +0.2, about 20% of all the color gamuts becomes a target color zone.
(6) Simulation ON/OFF: Switch the simulation ON and OFF.
(7) Mirror: Shows mirrored image.
(8) Rotation: Shows rotated 90 degrees clockwise image.
(9) Save image: Push to save a image on screen.
(10) Color Reference ON/OFF: Shows the "Color Reference" window for checking the color change condition of current parameters on xy chromaticity diagram (sRGB only).
(11) Color Zone (0.0 - 1.0): Specify the location of the color zone to change a color into. Colors that belong to the target color zone is changed to other colors according to the value of "Lightness" and "Chromaticity". When "Color Vision Type" is P or D, left end of a slider is Red and right end is Green.
(12) Information: Shows this info.

A web browser which supports WebGL is required. The web camera only works when WebRTC is supported.

見えにくい色を見る、見分けにくい色を見分ける！本ソフトウェアは、色の区別がつきにくい、特定の色が見えにくいなどの色覚的特徴を持つ人のための、色の視認や弁別をサポートするための色覚補助ツールです。1型（Protan）、2型(Deutan）および3型（Tritan）の先天性色覚に対応しています。スマートフォン用の「色のめがね」をベースに、HTML5 + Javascriptでウェブアプリケーション化したものであり、ソフトウェアをインストールすることなく、対応ウェブブラウザのみで動作します。

使用している、アルゴリズム、シミュレーション手法、色覚用語等の詳細については、「色のめがね」ウェブサイトおよび浅田一憲ウェブサイトをご覧ください。

使用方法

(1) 色覚タイプ（P, D, T）: ユーザの色覚のタイプを、P（Protan, 1型）、D（Deutan, 2型）、T（Tritan, 3型）の中から選択します。
(2) 入力デバイス (カメラ, ファイル): 画像を入力するデバイスを、カメラ（動画像）、ファイル（静止画像）から選択します。
(3) Lightness（明度）（-0.5〜+0.5）: 色変更の対象となる色ゾーンの明度を増減させます。数値は黒〜白を明度0.0〜1.0としたときの相対変化量です。例えば、+0.2に設定した場合、P型かD型色覚なら、赤などは20%明度が高くなり、緑などは20%明度が低くなります。T型色覚なら、黄などは20%明度が高くなり、青などは20%明度が低くなります。
(4) Chromaticity（色度）（-0.5〜+0.5）: 色変更の対象となる色ゾーンの色度を変化させます。P型かD型色覚の場合、数値は赤〜緑の色度を0.0〜1.0としたときの相対変化量です。例えば、+0.2に設定した場合、赤などは青味を帯びた色になり、緑などは黄色味を帯びた色に変化します。
(5) Zone Width（色ゾーンの幅）: 色変更の対象となる色ゾーンの幅を設定します。例えば、+0.2に設定した場合、全色域の約20%が色変更の対象色ゾーンとなります。
(6) シミュレーションON/OFF: シミュレーションのONとOFFを設定します。
(7) ミラー: 左右ミラーリングした画像を表示します。
(8) 回転: 画面を時計回りに90度回転して表示します。
(9) 画像保存: スクリーン上に表示されている画像を保存します。
(10) カラーリファレンスON/OFF: 現在のパラメータの色変更具合を xy色度図（sRGBのみ）上で確認することができる ”Color Reference” ウィンドウを表示します。
(11) Color Zone（色ゾーンの位置）（0.0〜1.0）: このスライダで、色変更の対象となる色ゾーンの位置を指定します。対象色ゾーンに属する色は、LightnessとChromaticityの値に従って他の色に変化します。P型、D型色覚なら、スライダの左端が赤、右端は緑を、T型色覚なら、スライダの左端が黄、右端は青を示します。
(12) インフォメーション: 本画面を表示します。

WebGLをサポートしているウェブブラウザが必要です。ウェブカメラはWebRTCをサポートしているウェブブラウザでのみ使用できます。
